Excellent site. I could use even more info on bottling fruit though - to eat through the winter as fruit, plus also vegetables. I am keen not to use electricity to store my produce.

We have plums, grapes (black and green) and apples. Apples and plums grow and fruit very well but the grapes do not mature to full size on the vines.
